Owner Of Jewelry Story Goes After Robbers With Bat - UK

The owner of a jewellery shop on Leicester's Golden Mile has said thieves armed with hammers stole about £30,000 worth of gold rings.
Rajesh Pattni said he picked up a baseball bat and "started to fight with them" before the robbers escaped with the gold. Four men went into Kampala Jewellers on Melton Road at about 11:50 BST on Tuesday. Mr Pattni said the men smashed open glass display units and stole two trays of gold rings. He added it was the second time his shop has been targeted.
