Train derails in Germany injuring 50

Nearly 50 people were injured when a regional train derailed after hitting a car in eastern Germany on Tuesday. The train crashed into the car that was hit by another vehicle and pushed onto the tracks in Lauterbach, between Leipzig and Chemnitz. The driver of the car managed to get out before the accident, but the train couldn't stop in time. German railway operator Deutsche Bahn says train traffic has been rerouted.
